Kolber is a Pennsylvania native, Kolber received her graduate degree from University of Miami. She started her professional career as a video editor at CBS Sports in New York City. In her time at WTVJ-TV Miami the station won a Sports Emmy. Additionally, she was employed by WPLG-TV Miami and WPEC-TV West Palm Beach in Florida. She was hired by ESPN in 1993, and was one of the first anchors of ESPN2 when it was first created. In the following years, she worked at ESPN2 over the next three seasons, Fox Sports hired her. Then, in 1999, she returned to ESPN and serves as host of the show 'Monday Night Countdown'.
